School after more than three days of rain totalling somewhere between
5 and 6 inches. Everybody's basement is flooded including ours
(minor). Carol and I have wet-vac'd probably 100 gallons of water from
our basement It's much more serious in some nearby towns.
Audrey hasn't been to school in a week due to illness. She went to the
doctor yesterday - he suspects bronchitis or possibly walking
pneumonia. She's on antibiotics now. Charlotte has had the same thing
since Thursday but drugs will wait a couple more days (only if fever
persists past 5 days). Thankfully Carol is on the mend.
