It took me a very long time to get around to editing the video, but here it is. We celebrated Audrey's 7th birthday in mid-February. Audrey invited a handful of classmates and friends and we had the party at our house.
Carol went all out designing a Harry Potter experience for the event. There was a brick wall to run through to get to Platform 9 3/4. Then a snack cart on the Hogwart's Express. She hand made wands for each kid and they practiced their spells. Next was a trip to the dungeon for a session of potions class. Then they went on a treasure hunt and each guest found a Sorcerer's Stone. Finally they entered the Great Hall to sing Happy Birthday and have Hogwart's Castle cake. Carol was exhausted. I was impressed.
We can't believe we have a seven-year-old.

You are more than 1/2 the way to the teenies, and at the front of the tweenies. Your disbelief is a fun exhilarating slap in the face, and your about to awaken in cold sweets at 3 AM :) as a result. Get used to it, the benefits of kids is definitely in full swing.
